SO3 (Sulfur)

Family:Other
Weight:0.000
Expansion:0.000
Fusion:0C

-SO3 refers to the sulfur material that burns away during firing. It can be used in an analysis to make clear the nature of LOI components. Since it is lost during firing, a formula weight of zero should be used so there is no impact on the calculated formula or calculated properties.

-Many raw clays contain some sulfur.
