A younger form of carbonate rock, comprising cal-spar and dolomite; also, flogopite, apatite, nepheline, petrovskite, monazite, barite. Formed by the carbonic masses of surface earth undercrust. Usually has very black deposits of carbonized material, or cavities from washed-out carbon.
